Which Law courses have fewer exams?

Hi! 😊 I'm looking to study Law and want to know which UK universities have law degrees that are assessed more by coursework than by exams. Can current students share how their course is assessed and which unis are less exam-heavy? Thanks for any advice!

Hi Craymaman77,

Law is a great course! It can offer so many graduate skills and oppourtunities! In terms how you would be assessed on law degrees you should be able to find all of this information on the university course pages!

For example,
If you go onto our LLB Law Degree at Newcastle University, and go down to 'Modules and Learning' you can see how the course is assessed, ~80% written exams in years 1 & 2, then dropping down to 56% in year 3.

If you have some universities in mind that you would like to study at, check out their course pages to find this info out!

Wishing you well!

Look at the module descriptions of your target unis in detail. Most unis publish the assessment methodologies.
