Law application 2026

I don’t know if I have a good shot of doing law in a russel group university. I’m predicted AAB and take A level english, Geography and Art. I feel like my a levels may not be strong options. has anyone got into cardiff or york with similar subjects/predicted grades?

With AAB predicted you may look at Cardiff, Sheffield and York. Good luck.

There are no required subjects for Law, so which A level subjects you are taking is not significant - Unis will just be looking at your predicted grades, your PS and LNAT (if required).

With AAB, its worth having one AAA choice that is not mega-competitive - Liverpool for example - three choices at AAB (Sussex, Loughborough, Lancaster, Reading etc ) and one choice below that (Keele, Oxford Brookes, Plymouth etc).
