Hi @applicant34568,

It's great to hear you're applied to study Biomedical Science with us at NTU!

I've found Nottingham to be a great city for student life - there's always something going on no matter your taste! You can read more about life in Nottingham here, but some of my highlights would be the wide array of societies available for students, as well as the abundant green spaces close to our campuses - it's not uncommon to see students enjoying the summer weather in the Arboretum close to our City campus!

I graduated from NTU a few years ago now, but I was a huge fan of the local music scene in Nottingham. There are plenty of world class venues and artists coming through Nottingham regularly. We're spoilt for choice on sport as well, with the Panthers Ice Hockey team being a personal favourite of mine - The NTU Varsity Ice Hockey matches are also always popular! For a quieter evening the The Dice Cup is a hotspot for boardgames that I can thoroughly recommend too.
