MSc Occupational Therapy offer from NTU - student experiences

Hi everyone!

I’ve received an offer from Notts Trent uni to study MSc Occupational Therapy, starting in January. I’ve got an interview with Derby uni in a couple of weeks, so I haven’t accepted my NTU offer yet as waiting to see if I’ll get an offer from Derby and then weigh up my options (I live closer to Derby uni).

I’m keen to hear from current MSc OT students at NTU about your experiences - how good the course is, where your placements are, how often you’re on campus etc. I’m a mature student with two young children so trying to think about how I’d make things work. I know it’s an intense course but I’d need to have a part time job alongside studying to pay for childcare. So also keen to hear from students about working alongside studying this course - I know placements are full time so am hoping I’ll be able to get a flexible part time job!

Thank you

Are you aware of the financial support you could be eligible for from the NHS LSF - the annual training grant and the parental support?
