Applying for student finance after a WHV

Hi,
I travelled round Australia on a working holiday visa for around 10 months and came back home in June. Will this affect me being able to apply for student finance if I wanted to apply for an undergraduate course. Aside from that, I'm a UK citizen and have lived here my entire life.

I have actually applied for student finance before when I was 18 and was accepted for a course at the time but didn’t complete this. However, looking online I don’t think this prevents me from applying to university again.

Any advice and answers would be grateful thankyou!

Hi there, you can still apply to Student Finance for support, however as you will a temporary break in your residency we will require evidence that the break was of a temporary nature. We can accept evidence such as:
A letter from the employer or employers on headed paper confirming temporary employment including dates, a contract from the employer that clearly shows the employment is of a temporary nature and temporary visas or work permits. These can be provided at the application submission for review. Stephen

Hello, thankyou for your help. Do you have an idea of where I can upload this on my application as I can’t see any section for document uploaded etc? Alternatively, is this something I can submit and then they will contact me for this information? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Hi there,

When you log into your online account click on the current academic year. When this pages loads up on the right hand side you should see an expand button. If you click on this it should give you a drop down menu and you should see an upload of evidence option here. You can use the link below as it will show you what to do. If you are unable to upload the evidence then you would need to post it.
