House Share for Second Year

Hi everyone I am currently in my first year at YSJ and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or is looking for a roommate after they finish their first year

Hi there!

The Students' Union are hosting a Housing Fair on Monday, the 10th November, 10-2pm in the Creative Centre. The SU website says:

"This event brings together various local organisations, letting agencies, and landlords from across York to answer any questions you have about housing. Whether you're unsure about the rental process or seeking clarity on contracts, this fair is your perfect opportunity to gain knowledge and network with professionals in the field. You can also find out more about property vacancies and how to secure your next student house."

They're also hosting a Find a Flatmate Meet Up on Wednesday, 12th November, at 3pm in the SU lounge. They've described the event as follows:

We’re hosting our annual ‘Find A Flatmate’ event to help anyone looking to find housemates for the next academic year. Sharing a living space with compatible individuals can greatly enhance your university experience, so come along and meet like-minded people. To sweeten the deal, we'll be providing free pizza! Come down, enjoy a slice, meet other students and potentially your future housemates.
