My baseline tests make up 10% of my predicted grades

Hi I am in year 12 and have finished my baseline tests which make up 10% of my predicted grades. My January tests contribute 15% with the year 12 mocks making up the final percentage.

Does anyone's baseline count towards their predicted grades?

Does the september exam refer to the baseline or was it a separate test?

This seems fairly reasonable. I think most schools use the end of year 12 (or middle of year 13 if applicable) mocks as the main factor, but consider other tests too to ensure consistency and fairness. It's likely that your school will be somewhat flexible if anything's unusual, so don't deep it too much.

That might be the case. Thanks

My school based them on both sets of year 12 mocks (April and July) and then if people needed higher predicteds they could redeem themselves in the year 13 September mocks i think. It’s stupid to base predicteds on something at the very start of year 12, they may as well base them on gcse grades by that logic!
