What exactly do you not understand? Is it like revision or like you just don't understand what your teacher is saying??

honestly the content😓.In yr 10 we did cold war and early elizabethean england and beginning of yr 11 we started crime and punishment and its so different.Nothing really flows with each other and i think thats why i struggle. And how would i know which informations i need. For example, my teacher gives us worksheet but other websites like save my exams or youtube contain more information. So im confused on what information i actually need.Im so sorry im literally rambling

For maths you should watch loads of videos on how to do it. Then do practice questions on each topic before you do past papers because for past papers, especially questions at the back, they kind of combine topics so you need to know the separate topic really well because the topic combinations for questions are likely to be different each year. E.g in 2019 question 26 could've been about coordinates, bearing and nth term and then in 2024 it could've been about angles, simultaneous equations and nth term. They both have nth term but you have to go through different ways to answer the question if thay makes sense.

No like I totally get what you mean. History drainedddddd me🫩, but I survived so you will too💪🏾!
You should definitely tailor your revision to the specification of the exam board you use because they can't legally ask you anything outside of that I don't think so learn the content there. Definitely waych video as well and get online resources. I think save my exams and bbc bitesize is quite good because most things in the specification are there.
If it makes it better you can subdivide your crime and punishment. The way subdivided it was into
Anglo saxon types of crime
Angle saxon types of punishment
Anglo saxon types of law enforcement
Then I did this for the different times which were i think norman England, medieval, early modern, modern etc. And then you then look for the changes in crime punishment and law enforcement between each period and then all the other info that you'll need to know will be on the specification i.e the whitechapel bit and whatever is left.

I really hope this helps you find a way to tackle the problems on the content. If you don't understand anything pls lml.and I'll try get back to you asap.

tysm for replying.IM SCARED TO LOOK AT THE SPEC BECAUSE OF THE CONTENT OVERLOAD.i hate the random dates or events they give. Like in 1700-1900, it goes from bow street runners to creation of metroploitan force i think?? and with that they just give random dates on what opened in it.HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MEMORISE THAT WHEN IT JUST FEEL SO OUT OF PLACE.Also not history related, since u take biology and chemistry and maths do u think its good. Obviously it wont be easy but do u think its not like pulling your hair our type of hard. They were literally the subjects i was planning on taking since i think im stronger on STEM side then essay style. But everyone is saying how they regret taking it, even people that were good at maths or science in GCSE.

Ikrrrrrr. History was genuinely something else man. But you might want to watch yt videos or look at bbc bitesize if you're confused about it and if you want to know the content.

For a-levels, I think bio, chem and maths is a really good combo especially chemistry. If you're looking to go into STEM you should probably do chem as it pairs really well with most stem subjects. The work load is like 100x gcse workload. There's so much content and such little time so the pace will deffo pick up. Though I think the content for AQA is less that some exam boards. OCR is notorious for its heavy content but GCSE OCR definitely helped with A level because some stuff that wasn't taught with the AQA spec was taught with the OCR spec so im grateful for that but im kind of happy I do aqa now.
If yoi don't like graphs then idk if maths is for you because there's graphs for like everything. Its definitely a step up from GCSE but I did IGCSE and again I think that might have helped me ever so slightly especially because we do mu and lambda so yeah...
Bio also has a heavy workload as well.
All in all just be prepared for the jump because its gonna be quite a large one.

I hope I didn't scare you because I think its definitely worth it to do them but only if you like the subject to some extent or something otheriswe you might become regretful. They're quite interesting subjects and they can get you to where you want to be in future as well so don't be discouraged. Definitely take it. The people that say they regret it are probably saying it because they think other subjects are easier which is a complete lie. Every subject is hard at a level (except maybe PE). Do what you want to do otherwise you'll regret it.

I can tell you the six markers but I cba to send everything unless there's a way for me to to send it privately?

Paper 1 was
Discuss how a marathon runner should adapt their diet compared to a sedentary individual and explain the individual benefits of a sedentary individual.

Paper 2 was
Describe the components of a warm up
Describe and apply the characteristics of a skillful movement
Apply your answer to a named physical activity or sport

i genuinely dont know what to choose😣. im deffo stronger on my stem especially with maths chem and bio but i do AQA gcse for science and the college im going will do OCR so i think it would be way more difficult. Idm graphs i just dont like interperating them in biology. Is there alot of ratios because they are my weakest in maths. AGAIN THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUR TIME AND REPLYING IT MEANS SO MUCH

ALSO, i did my history mocks this week. it really wasnt that bad. i think we got the 2025 paper but this years paper was sm easier in general like in every subject so our year paper will probably me sm harder so history will literally eat me alive 😞
