For the Arkwright project, there appears to be a new system where you propose a project on the form, then work on it until the interview where you show them it in a hopefully finished state.
For me I'm wondering if I do my GCSE DT NEA project, which is an automated cat feeder, controlled by pi picos and a remote control that will live on my client's desk.
Alternatively, over the summer I started building an RC tank, and I'm wondering if they'd take that more seriously since it's an independent project I'm doing for fun rather than something I'm doing anyway for GCSE.Obviously I'd have to do the RC tank project at home, but my dad has plenty of tools and I have a 3D printer so that shouldn't be an issue.
Anyway if there are any current/past Arkwright scholars who could let me know whether they think a GCSE project or a personal project would be better that would be great.
