Hi @Charliebubb5,

For a subject such as Mechanical Engineering, you are probably going to want to take Maths, Physics and one other subject (this could be product design). Almost all the universities I know have A-Level maths as a non-negociable (often requiring you to get around an A in it) for engineers and most of those will also ask for Physics, especially for mechanical engineering. Every university has different entry requirements and views on what subjects they want from applicants so I would recommend doing some research on the university websites or on the UCAS website (UCAS are the application site and have lots of info on uni courses compiled together) to get an overall pitcure.

I wish you the best for your choice of A-Levels

Hi,

Most entry requirements for Mechanical Engineering include A-level Mathematics, Physics, and one other subject. Your third subject could definitely be Product Design if that interests you.

I’d recommend checking specific entry requirements for the universities you’re interested in, as some may suggest or require particular subjects.

Hope this helps, best of luck with your choices
