I overpacked, is there more cheap self storage in London for students?

Trying to cut costs by moving into smaller accommodation, but i’ve got way too much stuff to fit in my new place. found a cheap unit at henfield storage in west london, which looks decent and pretty affordable to start with, but i’m hoping to find a few more options in the same price range nearby. been looking at big yellow too, though i’m not sure which one’s better value for students. just need somewhere clean, secure, and easy to access on weekends without it wrecking my budget. any tips or recs would be a massive help, cheers!

Hey,

How long are you planning to store the goods? Depending on whether you're a home or international student, it may be cheaper in the long run to ship the goods back to your home/out of term-time residence. Also weigh up the cost saving you'd be making by moving into a smaller accommodation vs long-terms storage costs.

The best storage facilities are going to be the ones that are reasonably close to you (remember you have to transport the goods to the facility in the first place) and ideally offer some sort of discount for students. Reach out to Big Yellow to check their availability and get a quote. 🙂

Hope this helps and best of luck,
Eve (Kingston Rep).
