What offers am I likely to recieve?

Im a bit anxious because i applied around a week ago, but with no choices that were much lower than my predicteds

My stats:
AAA predicted in History, politics, maths
Gcses: 877777766
Applying to history and IR at LSE(AAA), KCL(AAA),Exeter(AAB-ABB) and im contextual at bristol so i applied to both Law(AAB) and Politics and IR (ABB)

Is it too ambitious? Also is it possible i could get an unconditional offer

Two grades below your predicted is a perfectly reasonable safe choice.

No, you won't receive an unconditional offer. (They died out a few years ago for applicants without achieved grades.)

If you are still taking A levels you won't get Unconditional offers - the Office for Students has really clamped down on this practice, and 'top' Unis don't need to do this anyway as they will not have any problems filling the course and need to bribe anyone with an Unconditional offer.

Re. your 5 choices - don't worry. If you are eligible for lower grade Contextual offers from Bristol, the Pol/IR ABB choice is your potential Insurance pick. Just remember that you need to take LNAT for Law at Bristol - so register and book your test slot asap.

Have you booked the LNAT for Bristol law because u need to do it in order to get the contextual offer.

Yep booked it for late November
Hi there,

Just to reiterate what others have said, I think your choices are fine. If you're predicted AAA then having a couple of choices at AAB/ABB with contextual will be absolutely fine - it sounds like you've picked a sensible range of unis.

Just also a quick note, please, please don't worry if you find yourself waiting til past January to receive offers. Your unis' decisions can come anytime between now and March-April and many competitive places will not give offers until after the 14th January deadline. How long you await your offer has absolutely nothing to do with how strong your application is - 🙂

Wishing you luck!
