can you get into dentistry with a btec ?

so im planning on going to bristol university to study dentistry , and im doing an applied scinces btec . and im thinking compared to other a level students do i even stand a chance ? im really ambitous about dentistry so i just want to educate myself with further research as much as possible

not really realistically they want bio & chem (most schools) for a level and btecs are usually easier

If you meet the minimum entry requirements for Bristol - including the 5 specified Chemistry units and GCSE Maths 7 and English 4 - your BTEC application will be considered alongside A level applications and the Uni will not 'prefer' them over a BTEC application. Be aware that you also need to take UKCAT for Dentistry at Bristol - and because this score is how Bristol selects for Interview, you will need a very high result.
