Should I do the lnat as early as possible??

Hi everyone!!
My lnat is booked for the 9th of December which according to the lnat website is okay for the universities I'm applying to (KCL, LSE, Bristol) I'm just worried that since the lnat is separate from the ucas application that it may affect my application as a whole? My college's deadline to send in the ucas application is after the half term which is fine since my personal statement is done. I'm just unsure on whether or not I should do the lnat earlier or stick to my original date.

Hey @daliyakadir,

If the LNAT website states that the 9th of December examination is acceptable for the universities you're applying for, I would stick to that date and give yourself more time for revision. You can always double-check with each university individually by reading the course page or emailing them directly.

The only university I know of with a very early LNAT deadline is Oxford/Cambridge as they have a stricter application cut-off date in general. Most other universities will follow the general UCAS application cycle or will have their deadlines specifically listed on the LNAT website.

Hope this helps and best of luck with the LNAT!

Don't worry. LNAT Unis will just wait until they get your LNAT score before they assess your application. It wont impact their decision, only the timing of any offer. Many people submit their UCAS application and then take LNAT later so they are very used to this.
