kcl med help?

hey guys so l applied to kings and I was doing a bit of a deep dive - apparently last year the lowest score invited to interview (non contextual home) was 2800 band 2 with all a*s at gose? So that was 82nd percentile.

I got 82nd percentile this year and applied to kings with all 9s. But based on how "cutoff" rises every year and the increase in ucat takers this year, that'll rise so I'll very likely be below their internal "cutoff" and be rejected pre interview.

Something that confuses me with kings is ik people last year with a decent ucat and very mid goses who still got interviewed so im questioning the scoring system that everyone knows about.

Im a resit applicant, having underperformed in my a levels this year after extenuating circumstances, which ended up affecting both a levels and ucat (caring responsibilities and temporary health issues). My teacher in my reference also mentioned my 99th percentile ucat last year and how my ucat this year was affected.

Ive heard some ppl say kings are pretty strict with it and others have said kings are generous with mitigating circumstances??

Anyone know how kings weigh mitigating circumstances? Im not eligible for other usual contextual factors such as FSM, postcode etc... just the mitigating circumstances so im a non contextual home applicant.

Sorry for the big paragraph and would really appreciate if anyone has any knowledge on this!
