✨Dream Career✨

I would love to be a Univeristy professor as I’m really interested in teaching, researching, as well as writing and publishing in an academic setting.

✨Back-up Careers✨

University roles 👩*🎓 such as careers adviser, outreach officer, student support officer, or academic administrator.

Publishing sector 📚 working as an editor, proofreader, or marketer, especially for non-fiction or history-related books.

Museums and archives 📜 working as a historical researcher, curator, or archivist (I did my work experience at the National Archives!).

Education 🏫 becoming a secondary school or sixth-form History teacher.

This blog will just be a continuation of the one I had in Year 12. I’ll admit I probably won’t update it very often, because I think I’d get glued to my phone if I did it every day. But I’ll post updates when big things happen, especially in relation to A-levels, and I’ll also share how I’m managing my anxiety disorder and mental health along the way.

Yeah. The college I sent my written work to said I probably won’t hear if I’ve gotten to interview stage until December. But, at least I know that if I don’t or if I get rejected after the interview stage I have all my other options!

Good morning, I hope you are well.

Firstly, these are fantastic results; well done for the great work!

In relation to the University of Kent, well done for receiving the offer and I am very much hoping you consider studies there. The University is tailored around making you a success and providing you with career and educational prospects to help you reach your personal goals.

I personally study International Business and have found the support and conversations at the University to be second to none. Everyone is incredibly helpful and it has overall been a great experience.

Any concerns or further questions do not hesitate to ask! Well done again.

Hey guys! I just heard back from Oxford today and...

I got an interview! I did get reallocated to a different college (applied to Mansfield but got an interview from St. Edmund Hall) but I don't really mind and I'm grateful to have even gotten an interview at all. I'll update when I get the date and let you know how it goes!
