gcse maths november 2025 resit

hey guys im trying to achieve an 8/9 in gcse maths with the exam in a week! im doing fine on every question but im struggling with the worded questions that require some comprehension skills to problem solve and get the answer. how do i get better at this?? they always catch me out ☹️☹️

My advice would be to have an intuition on how to solve each problems, for example some worded problems could be on sharing ratios, compound interest... but 90% of the time being able to decipher what 'tools' you should be using is already good enough for majority of the marks if not full. Anyways good luck on your exams!!

Look for key words as the context is not usually relevant.

i find that most of the time i look at really easy questions, read them, panic and go “what the …” 😭😭 meanwhile i ease through the harder questions later on in the paper
