27th october. i also just read it again and it says interviews will be sent mid november.

“Our interviews will be delivered through the Multiple Mini Interview format and will begin on 8 December 2025. Meanwhile you will find the below information useful should you be successful in gaining an interview with us. Invitations to interview will be sent in mid November.”

Hi! I’m an international student currently deciding between a few foundation options, and I’m seriously considering the International Foundation Year in Health, Medical & Life Sciences at Cardiff.
I wanted to ask if anyone here has:

completed this specific foundation year at Cardiff, and

•

successfully progressed into the MBChB Medicine programme.

If yes, could you share how competitive the progression was, how supportive the teaching/materials were, and whether you felt fully prepared for the transition into Year 1 of Medicine?
Even if you know someone who went through this route, I’d really appreciate any insight or experiences. Thank you so much!

Is it true you've a lower chance of getting in if you're not Welsh? I'm a ROI applicant and have sat my A-Level Equivalent (Leaving Cert) so wondering how I'd be scored for interview in comparison

I think there is some contextualisation given for Welsh students. If you have top scoring exams already in the bag you'll probably be in a decent position
