Bristol vs leeds

I need your help as I am really confused, I have got my acceptance from both university of leeds as well as Bristol. I have been offered MSc finance and investment in leeds and Msc Economics and finance in Bristol. Which one will be better for better job opportunities in finance field and getting into IB.

Depending on your objective, both are compelling propositions. Leeds (MSc Finance & Investment) is a superior option if front-office finance or investment banking are your primary goals. IB recruiters respect it since it is more specialised, useful, and concentrated on financial modelling, markets, and investment abilities. If you're also interested in economics, research, or consultancy, Bristol (MSc Economics & Finance) offers more flexibility and a somewhat better overall university rating.

Neither will provide solid prospects for front office IB roles. Most graduate scheme roles nowadays go to the people who do well in the firm's summer internship programme. The remaining positions tend to go to those who have master's from top tier UK/European universities and have prior relevant internship experience.

The reality is that a MSc Economics, Finance, Investment etc from a middling university won't go very far in high finance/strategy consulting recruitment processes, particularly if you don't already have relevant internship experience.
