University of Oxford Medical Elective Help (2026-2027)
Hi everyone,
I am an overseas medical student extremely keen to apply for a medical elective at Oxford Uni for 2027. I am looking for advice from previous successful applicants on what things to include in my CV, and which type of individuals to reach out for LORs (extremely successful docs or those who are more likely to write generously about you)? Additionally is it wise to apply for less "popular" subjects e.g. neuro/opthal (this is completely my assumption as I noticed last year many who chose Clinical Med did not make it)?
