LJMU men’s football team: competitive?

How competitive is the LJMU men’s football team, and what options are there if you don’t make the main squad? 😊 Would love to hear from anyone who’s tried out or played at any level – are social leagues and 5-a-side good at uni?

I hope you are well! I did trial for the football team at LJMU however, I did not make the team but there are other options available. I participated in 5-aside during first year and actually found it to be so much fun! It is amazing to meet new people and also to just have a laugh and a kick about with your mates! Its a league that just involves uni students and they have many leagues on different days so that you are able to make it to at least one of them!
The football trials were quite competitive and a lot of people showed up but you should definitely give it a go when you come to uni.
