I was seeing my old teaching assistant until the end of summer when I discovered he was already married, now I found out I am pregnant, I've messaged him but he told me to stop contacting him and being desperate thinking that I am lying? Anyone got any advice abortion is not an option for me

How old are you? You should go to local police station. They will do the rest for you without breaking your confidentiality.

I would speak to trusted individual. GP/ health professional at your local sexual health drop in centre. Or someone you can trust. There are measures in place to support you going forward.

Police don't deal with pregnancies for you.

His wife will find out now about what he's done

Maybe ask him if he'd like to come with you when you have your first scan.... or would he just like you to send copies of the scans. You need to put the sh*ts up him!

Speak to a trusted individual like a GP at a local sexual health centre

And well if you want to be a bit more savage.... go and tell his wife! I don't recommend this but just in case he keeps acting like an irresponsible father..

Did not know the person was a 19 year old... thought it was a safeguarding issue

The community did tell you not to contact him in the first place. You asked this forum if it was wrong, didn't take the advice, contacted him anyway, met up, thought there was a spark between you, slept together, now you're convinced he's the dad but no DNA test to prove it, and we're back to giving you advice.

Looking forward to the next update in 3 months time.

Is there any particular clear logical reason as to why abortion is not an option?

If there is, then what this teaching assistant wants and what he gets will be 2 very different things!
Because, as a bare minimum he will have some financial responsibility for his child, whether he likes it or not. Because that's the law.
Assuming this is not a troll post, as OP was over the age of majority at the time this is really more of a case of their own bad decisions affecting them.

In which case they need to take responsibility for that and make a decision on how to proceed, whether to keep it or not and assess how either option will affect them and fit into their plans.

Like yes it's definitely pretty skeevy for a TA to start dating his 19 year old former student for sure, but there's nothing illegal about it if the relationship only began after they were over 18 and at a certain point the OP has some responsibility here too. And adultery is not illegal as far as I'm aware...
