happy halloween👻 - having a fairly chilled time myself, going out with a few of my friends for some drinks but thats about it (: - i know in the city though there's tons on!!, aswell as the uni have a halloween event running at the union with some halloween themed games, cocktails and rocky horror live preformances which i may have to go see, sounds pretty cool !!

also a couple socities running some halloween pub crawls & an escape room (:

Uni of Staffs has had an awesome array of events going on this past week that have kept everyone busy. Here's some mentions (though there are so many more...)

Society Specials
All societies have been hosting their Halloween special events this week. The Staffs Computing Society did a cipher themed hunt to fund the killer from their murder mystery, Staffs Idol did a huge and impressive dress-up event to judge the best costumes and Sonic Society hosted a Halloween session.

Pumpkin Carving
Today we had pumpkin carving in Ember Lounge, the line up was amazing. I made Octocat from Github!

GG (Spoooky version)
The day before all gaming societies came together to host GG, a semesterly session where you can try out any game you desire.

Fright Night
After Karaoke Tuesday, everyone is preparing for Fright Night, a fun party! Sweet treats, costume judging, free drinks and more. We can't wait to attend. Last year was a blast too.

Would love to hear what everyone else has got going on to keep them in the spooky spirit.

Hi all...

👻Happy Halloween!👻

When I was at uni in first year we had a small flat party with costumes, pumpkins, scary skeleton gingerbread men and card games. A few of the others then went out to town whilst me and a couple of others tidied up and listened to music until midnight! Here at Bath we're lucky to have a campus peppered with huge leafy trees and so all the autumn colours were in full show.

Whether or not you celebrate or choose to observe Halloween, I'd strongly recommend taking the opportunity to do something fun with your new flatmates or anyone you've met on your course. Also check out whether the SU are holding any events or fun stuff to do around the autumn period.

Hopefully you've all managed to settle into uni life a bit now - we hope its been a positive experience so far, and please remember to keep looking after yourselves 🙂

Hi Lotie,

Here at Kingston we have a few faculty fundraising events and costume parties happening at the Student Union and local pub!
Many people are also having fancy dress house parties across the town 👻

Hiya!

Happy belated Halloween! 🎃 I absolutely love Halloween, it’s one of my favourite holidays 👻 How was the Bingo Lingo event?

At DMU we had a coach trip to Xtreme Scream Park at Twinlakes. I actually went there with my boyfriend on a different day, and we had an amazing time! It’s known as one of the best scare events around. We also had a haunted house party at the Students’ Union, witch crafts, a murder mystery social, and a few more spooky activities. In the past, we’ve also done pumpkin painting and Halloween movie nights.

In the city, there were loads going on too from ghost trails and Halloween film screenings to live performances and themed parties. Around Leicestershire, there are also some great experiences like Cattows Farm, pumpkin picking, outdoor cinemas, and Halloween crafts! 🎃

Now, I am looking forward to seeing whats in store for Christmas 🎄
