If you're thinking about visiting Edge hill University, the next open day is Saturday 15th November. All you need to to do is book online and turn up on the day!
Whether it's your first open day or your twentieth, it's always useful to know what to expect and how to make the most of your visit.
Registration
The day starts with registration, when you'll pick up a complimentary tote bag and several booklets full of information about the open day, accommodation and your course. These are great to look through on the day or take home to browse later.
Campus Tours
Campus tours run roughly every 15 minutes and are led by current students. You’ll explore key parts of the university, including subject-specific buildings, accommodation, the library, the Students’ Union, and more. It’s a great way to get your bearings and ask any questions you might have about student life.
Accommodation Tours
Accommodation tours run throughout the day, and you can visit as many types as you like. Look out for the black marquees marking the accommodation points. A student guide will show you around, and a current resident will be happy to share what living on campus is really like.

Subject Talks
Most subject talks take place at either 11am or 1pm, but be sure to check before you arrive. These sessions are led by lecturers and give you a real insight into what studying your chosen course is like, as well as a chance to meet members of the department.
If you want to see as much as possible, it’s worth planning your day in advance. Otherwise, feel free to wander around and explore the campus at your own pace — there’s always someone nearby to help or answer questions.
Hopefully, you can make it to the next open day — it’s a great way to get a feel for what life at Edge Hill is really like!
