When will I receive offers?

Hi! I submitted my uni application at the end of September for psychology for UCL, Bristol, KCL, Bath and LSE and I’ve not heard anything back yet . I’m a bit worried as I’ve seen others who have already had a few offers and submitted after I did . Should I be worried and does this mean I’m likely to get rejected?
In brief, no you should not be worried and no, it doesn’t mean anything with regards to how likely you are to receive an offer.

No need to be worried, most people haven't even applied yet so some unis don't want to give out offers before they know how many people will apply. London unis take ages to respond in particular, so don't expect anything from UCL KCL and LSE for a while.

No need to worry - it can take until April/May to hear from some unis.

Hello,

Waiting is hard, wanting to know what our decision will be, and the best advice we can give you is, please be patient.

Psychology is a very popular course and we receive many applications for it and we do read each application very carefully to make sure that we are making the right decisions for our applicants. The equal consideration deadline is not until January and the deadline for decisions by institutions is May. You may not hear from us until spring next year when we will have had the time and opportunity to consider all on time applications equally.

Look at it this way - you've got your application in, now you can focus on your studies without worrying about writing your personal statement and completing your UCAS application.

The wait does feel tough but please be assured your application is being carefully considered by us.

All the best,

University of Bath
