Postgrad Compelling reasons paper application

Hi, I’m hoping someone could help. I applied for compelling reasons and submitted a paper application by post 5 weeks ago. But I haven’t received an outcome. All that I’ve had is my previous course be marked as withdrawn on the SFE system and be given a new entitlement letter regarding that. I’m getting abit concerned because I’ve started my course- whilst I wait and I don't want to have to withdraw. My tuition is due in January, I can’t afford to self fund.

Thanks, Sophie

Hi there, application are currently taking an estimated 6-8 weeks for review once received. As you have withdrawn from you previous course, we will be awaiting the assessment review of the new application and CPR evidence. Once completed, notification will be issued, and this will update on your online account one working day later. Stephen

Thank you Stephen. That’s incredibly helpful, I’m just praying now, that as I sent my evidence with my form, it might speed things along?

Hi SophieDianne92,

Yes, it should be processed once the application has been passed over to calculate your entitlement. If you monitor your account, this should update for you in approximately 25 working days after you see the paper form has been data entered onto the system.

Thanks, Clare

It’s going to be 8 weeks on Wednesday, if I still haven’t had any news or received an outcome, what should I do?

Hi, any help or advice would be great. I sent my last bit of evidence on the 9th December. A few days later, I called student finance, and I was told: ‘the current processing time is 16 days.’ I understand that we have just had Christmas, but I’m yet to hear back. It’s now been 3 weeks and my tuition is due on the 12th. I’m at the point where I will need to withdraw soon if I don’t have a decision. I’m feeling very lost.
