very relevant, u have learnt skills that directly tie into accounting.

for example, i remember talking about improving my analytical skills through biology which i then linked to when i shadowed an accountant and saw how important this skill was blah blah blah, psychology taught me good time management skills, writing essays in a short period of time which I know is important as i saw this in blah blah blah mention anything relevant like ur online course.

some skills:
attention to detail,
analytical thinking,
good communicator,
numerical skills,
critical thinking,
organised,
tech literate,
etc.

good luck!

thank you so much
of course including applied science would be great.
Applied science can be linked to accounting

Data analyisis, in applied science you work and analyse data, qualitative figures interpret results. These are key in accounting.

Critical thinking is exercised within applied science
These are important skills to link within you PS as you most likely have built on them during studying applied science

Hey @Iota_

Question 2 for the UCAS PS is your chance to shout about the relevant or transferable skills you’ve gained from your formal education and highlight your understanding of how they will help you succeed in this subject area.

You don't have to mention applied science but you call pull some transferable skills form it if you wish. Even if Applied Science isn’t directly related, you can mention transferable skills like research, problem-solving, or data analysis.

I would definitely recommend mentioning the online accounting courses you've done. Just make sure you explain how those courses prepared you for the subject you want to study—what you learned and how it connects to your future goals. Make everything you say relevant and concise.

I hope that helps,
