Which horror film is this?

All l can remember is a scene where someone has an ice skating boot blade skewered into their face, in a dark room. It was likely a late 80s or 90s film.

It doesn't appear to be that film, unfortunately. It has been shown on the BBC before.

It is Halloween H20 from 1998. Just saw someone ask the exact same question on Reddit. I hope it is much better than the original Halloween film from 1978, which was just amateurish garbage. You'd need to be a big girl's blouse to find that film even remotely scary

Are there any really scary films anyone knows of? Not babies films like Jaws or Halloween or Scream.

The Descent, and the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, are the only two that ever got me on edge on first viewing.

Having watched most of Halloween H20, it definitely falls into the Scream genre, and extremely disappointing.
