Politics is amazing here you will love it!
Sociology and Psychology have the same teachers and from what I’ve heard they’re mostly good.
The opportunities here are top notch (amazing for your personal statement) and the majority of teachers are good.
The school tries their best to set you up for a good future.
Not that much ethnic diversity though, especially in the 6th form but depends on who you meet.
The school is a little sketchy when it comes to things like class, ethnicity/race etc but it’s subtle I guess?
Sixth form building is really nice and modern and every single thing is around you (central London of course).
You can leave the building whenever you want to and you can go home if you don’t have any lessons remaining in the day.
No dress code.
Academics here are excellent, socially it depends on a lot of things.
Happy to answer any further questions

At first I felt so out of place but then I met some lovely people who also felt the same way - some internals, some externals - and honestly if you meet the right people then it isn’t THAT bad here!
Certain teachers may have certain personal views or like give off a certain energy if you get what I mean but majority aren’t - I’m new but I have heard some things that have happened before.
Some students hold certain views too but just don’t hang out with them and you’re fine. It’s more about like having views instead of acting on those views so you won’t experience anything. The school is mostly left-wing.
I was quite scared to move too but I’m glad I did and I think I made the right decision coming here!
If it helps, this is more of a representation of the real world as you won’t get along with EVERYONE and the world isn’t as diverse as what I’m guessing you’re used to? (my secondary was really diverse).
What I really like about this school is the environment is really relaxed but still like good academically if that makes sense. Academics and pressure aren’t like completely consuming your life. Some people need that pressure and some don’t but personally I prefer a more relaxed environment than high-pressure.

No worries! Thanks! I wish you good luck too for your GCSE exams, I’m sure you will do great. Once again, if you ever have any further questions I am more than happy to answer. You don’t really need to worry about adjusting here as a lot of externals come here.
