I wrote my personal statement at first to apply for business management with a modern language (mandarin) and I can speak Cantonese fluently, could I still apply to courses such as international business with my personal statement because there aren’t many universities that offer business management and a modern language which I can meet the grade requirement.

Yes it would, if it were me I would be making the majority of Q2 business related, I would be focusing Q3 on a love of languages and I would be putting something aloof and soppy about the language of international business in Q1.
