More importantly, I wonder why hardly anyone studies A-Level German? ☹️ Even A-Level French candidates declined but A-Level Spanish is doing well with numbers taking it.

the Republic actually, a-levels are just easier to distance learn than the leaving cert
Spanish is lovely. I can tell the people who made the coursework genuinely loved teaching it, which is really nice. and the chosen texts and themes are fab
