UCL Economics Chances

I am a prospective applicant to the BSc Economics course at UCL and was wondering if I have a chance at getting in without further maths given these are my stats:

A*A*A + A* (Maths, Econ, Compsci + EPQ)

99988887777 GCSE (from average state school)

Good reference, ranked #1 out of 60 in economics cohort

Also sitting the TMUA likely to get an average score ~ 4.8

Good personal statement

UCL Bsc Economics may seem appealing due to the 30% offer rate. However, all of these people are also the applicants applying to Oxbridge economics/PPE as well as LSE. Your stats put you in a good place, but, slightly below average as your average for GCSEs are 7.9. Most applicants who receive offers tend to have majority 9s and a few 8s with all A*s predicted and further maths instead of EPQ as well as a TMUA above 5.5. It would be deemed slightly risky for you. Please do look into Stats, Econ, Finance at UCL Bsc instead. This is also a great degree more aligned to your achievements. Great application on the whole, it is just a competitive course at an internationally competitive university. My advice
