MML Cambridge applicants 2026

What did you think guys? Better than Cyborgs?! Organisation a bit crap!

It was okay - definitely better than cyborgs lol. Yeah my organisation wasn't the best, but at least its done now! FINALLY lol. How did it go for you?

I meant their organisation of it but mine too haha! I found the paper very interesting and wanted to write so much more. In a way was hoping to have a bland paper (like the some of the past ones) where I had to search out arguments. This was the opposite. So much there I could hardly begin to touch on it.

Yess I really agree with this! I though the viewpoint was super interesting and there was so much to say about it. It was also on a subject which I was interested in as opposed to some of the slightly more boring ones in the spec papers I've seen. I feel like the organisation of the structure of these extracts always tend not to be suuuper coherent the whole way through as its usually taken as an excerpt from somewhere. Anyway I'm so glad its finally done! Now just the interview left 🙂 which languages are you applying for, and for which college?

I have applied to Emma for French and Spanish. They interview in person, however as far as I can see Emma haven’t offered any interviews yet for MML. I wonder whether they wait on the results of this test?
So now I have a rather uncomfortable wait 😳 How about you?

I've applied for Murray Edwards, for French and Spanish as well! Both post A level. Which language did you do the exam in? I did mine in Spanish. That's so interesting, I thought that everyone invited to do this exam would have received an interview already?! I'm pretty sure that I saw somewhere that the results of the test don't determine the interview, there just another aspect that they consider your application in. So when you got the email for the exam, it was just for the exam, without an interview? That's so strange! Good luck omg.

i think the test went okay, for me the english section was less organised because i rushed it due to there only being 20 minutes to write it, section A was better though

Im applying for french and Spanish ab initio at Clares. Have to say am a bit stressed after that assessment. Thought the extract was really interesting and loved the topic but reading back over my response I made a few silly mistakes and a tense error so im a bit terrified about that. Do they tell us our score for this? Guessing no but maybe somebody knows more info as everything ik is a bit vague.

I've applied to Emma for German and Spanish and I haven't heard anything about interview invitations yet either - I'm really nervous! Hopefully we hear soon - good luck!!

We were on the same zoom call then! Still not heard anything from Emma have you? The wait is unbearable!
Do you have far to travel to an interview?

Has anyone received an interview offer yet?? I'm applying for HML and I haven't received much information, I'm concerned that the assessment is in a week and I haven't heard back from anyone..
