its very much possible! the key to maths is practice, making mistakes is the only way you will learn! so, do short bursts of math questions (20-30 mins) and a past paper to identify your weakest points! use first class maths, gcse maths tutor, maths genie and definitely your maths teacher to understand new or weak topics

Hiya!

I was literally in the same position as you last year, I got like 6/50marks one of my year 10 exams and I was for sure thought I was done. However now I'm doing waayyy better and am predicted a grade 6 (nearing grade 7) and hoping to get a grade 8 in my GCSES! So yes it is 100% possible for you to get there in Y11, I'm living proof lol.

In terms of like revision, I'd highly recommend first to learn all the foundation content and get really really good at it because maths is like building blocks, you need the base knowledge to learn the other harder stuff so if you're weak in foundation topics (decimals, fractions, basic algebra) then you will really struggle in higher.

Once you are familiar with all the content then try doing practice papers or exam style questions cause maths exams are set in a way to test your understanding of knowledge and problem solving skills, so you have to be familiar with the types of questions that come up and how to solve them. A lot of students (including me) struggle when it comes to the exams because they know the content but because they haven't practiced it in different questions, they just dont know what to do.

Just start small like 10 practice questions a day and keep building it up until you can do a full past paper without skipping most the questions and you should be good
