Hi I’m a first year physics with astrophysics student at the university of glasgow and since I’ve been here I’ve HATED it. The university itself is amazing its just my actual course. I feel like I’m wasting my time in there and want to do something that actually matters. My uni has a gateway to medicine programme and I was wondering if anyone knows if it would to possible to maybe reapply next year or have me transferred into the course at the start of the next academic year. It doesn’t require a UCAT score or any work experience. I meet the grade requirements and I did qualify for adjusted entry requirements before. I would probably just have to do higher biology (I have AH physics and chemistry though) myself privately as i didn't do it in school. Most of my personal statement last year was also catered to the physics degree and i did a lot of things surrounding that, (reading books, observatory visits, running science clubs ect) so if I were to reapply if anyone knows how a medicine personal statement varies from one like that.
Any help appreciate, thanks!
