Assessment in chemistry courses

I'm looking at either Bath, York, or Warwick to study chemistry next year. What have people's experiences been regarding coursework/examinations, and which one would you recommend as being better for the course?

Warwick is an excellent option for Chemistry. The course has a strong balance between theory and practical work, with lots of lab sessions and small projects from the very first year. You learn across inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry, and later you can choose specialised modules in areas like materials or sustainable chemistry.

If you take the MChem, the final year includes a major research project and the chance to do a year in industry or abroad, which really helps with future career prospects. Assessments are mixed between exams, lab reports, and presentations, so you develop a full range of skills. The department has modern labs, supportive staff, and strong links with research and industry, making it a great place to study and grow.
