How hard is therapeutic radiography/radiotherapy course?

i want to go to Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, i was stuck between diagnostic radiography or therapeutic radiography but i think ive decided to choose therapeutic radiography after doing my research and weighing out the pros and cons, but im wondering…
1. how hard is the course?
2. how many hours do you put in during personal study (ik this is subjective to each person as some may spend longer but still gives me an idea)
3. whats the time table like? how many hours are you in per week?
4. how much work are you given/expected to do?
5. are the lecturers actually helpful? do they actually tell you what you need to know for exams?

thats all and id prefer Scottish students to reply to this because the course is different in england i think but all replies would be helpful!

The course in Scotland shouldn't be any different to those in England as they are all approved by the HCPC and are therefore of the same standard.

I recommend you attend an open day to talk to staff and students about the course in detail. If you can't attend one, then email the department and ask for a copy of this year's timetable. You will cover anatomy, physics and oncology, and you will go out on placement for several weeks at a time. The amount of time you spend on placement usually increases each year. You will be assessed on placement, and on the academic side through essays, exams, dissertations and presentations. You will have lectures that cover the basics and then you will be set an essay (or similar) where you need to research the topic further from the reading lists you are supplied with. It's not easy but neither is any degree if you want to succeed.

I attended glasgow calidonian uni and queen margerate uni open days and im going to attend robert gordon uni open day soon. but i wasnt sure the staff would be able to give me a fair opinion since theyre trying to sell the course to me, and there was no actual students studying the course present at the time so thats why i was hoping someone might be able to answer on here. i was looking for ppl studying the course on other social medias too so i’d be able to ask them however thankyou for the information you told me though its helpful x
