Zoology, Conservation or Ornithology at Bangor?

I'm deciding between Zoology, Zoology with Conservation, or Zoology with Ornithology at Bangor Uni. I love birds and want to work in conservation, but worry about specialising too early and limiting my career options. Has anyone been in this situation, or can share how flexible these degrees really are?

While I'm not able to answer your question I can hopefully find someone who can help you.

If you go onto the Zoology course page and scroll down to 'course contacts', (in the first quarter of the page) you can chat to lecturers through the chat function. They will be best to answer this question. It is not an instant chat so you may have to wait a bit for a reply.

Have you attended an Open Day? This is a great place to talk to staff and this school is brilliant in bringing along many students to the Open Day events so you can ask them plenty of questions.
