Cambridge written work- meaning of 'marked'???

Hi, I'm applying for 2026 entry English BA at Cambridge and have to submit 2 pieces of written work by the 5th November.

Does anyone know what they mean by 'marked' pieces of school work; do they want an actual numerical mark or would teacher commentary feedback suffice?

I ask because I plan to submit an NEA second draft with teacher feedback on it as one of my pieces of written work.
I previously emailed my college who said that 'If this is work done as part of your school education and has been marked by a teacher it will be suitable'.
Should I ask my teacher to give me a predicted numerical mark, or will her feedback commentary suffice?

Any words of wisdom would be immensely appreciated!

Feedback commentary should be enough! Both of mine (one for English lit and one for French) were marked with commentary but only one had an accurate numerical mark/grade. You're all good!

Dear, I only saw a "submission successful" message and received nothing from my portfolio (any acknowledgement or receipt email) after my submission on 1 Nov. But actually I have no any written work reminder email afterward. Did I assume the submission successful? Please help

I would recommend emailing your college, personally I got an email confirming safe receipt of my written work. Good luck!
I don’t know if each college does it differently though? I wouldn’t worry but if you want to be safe maybe email
