changing degree courses at uofg

Hi I’m a first year physics with astrophysics student at uofg. I was recently thinking about changing my degree as after the first semester I’ve realised It’s not for me and thinking of changing to biochemistry and do a GEM after or possibly do the gateway to medical studies course here (I know I qualify for it as I got in via widening access originally as I live in an SIMD 20 area and went to a school with low progression and was a part of a widening access program in the highlands (Aspire North)). I was wondering how the process works if theres anyway it can be done through the uni or if i will have to reapply through ucas again. I have emailed my old aspire north mentor and he hasn’t responded to me. I have also booked an appointment with student support but It isn’t for a while so i was wondering if i could get an answer quicker this way.

Any help appreciated, thanks.
