what do my chances look like at an Oxford interview?

I have applied for French and linguistics at oxford
I have 3 A* predicted at A-Level in French, Spanish, and English Language
I achieved five 9s, 4 8s, and one A* at GCSE
and I thought the MLAT went relatively good
how are my chances looking....?
I would imagine provided your MLAT went as well as you felt, you are probably likely to be interviewed - you significantly exceed the standard A-level requirements for the course, and they interviewed 96% of applicants to modern languages and linguistics over the past 3 years.

Of course securing an offer I expect will be very dependent on the interview...!

are offers mostly based on performance at interview, or does Oxford base it off of other factors too ?

They have access to the full range of information still. That said the interview is the big piece of information they won't have before interviews, to assess how you manage the tutorial/supervision style at Oxbridge.

You should be interviewed and the key is to practice answering questions whilst: "THINKING OUT ALOUD." 🙂 Because afterall, it is like a tutorial and the admissions tutors want to know if they want to teach you for 3 or 4 years.
