failed module exam

hi i have failed a module exam for Accounting&Finance. This is worth 40% of the module mark. Will i need to resit this if I pass the main exam - need 40% to pass. It was a science applications module

It will depend on whether you need to get a pass mark in each assessment, or whether you just need to get 40% overall for the module. This should be spelled out in your course handbook; but if not, try checking with your personal tutor or your school/department administrators.

Hi, I think this is best discussing with your module leader. They will be able to advise you what to do in this situation. Remember that even if you do need to resit then do not be disheartened as you still have another chance!
