I want to do diagnostic radiography or pharmacy but the thing is I got grade 4 in English language. Most universities ask for grade 4 but I want to apply for Leicester, which asks for a 5. Do you think I should resit is it worth it? Also will they maybe take in to consideration my lit grade (grade 7)?Btw I'm a y12

Hi, uni of Bradford offers pharmacy if you have a 4 in english lang and maths. (english lit at a high grade can be helpful but cannot replace english lang). you can also consider a foundation year as they have lower entry requirements especially if you are a contextual applicant (e.g. went to a low performing school/ sixth form). you can also resit but make sure to check which unis accept resits because not all unis accept resits. good luck!!

Hi @calm-terrace
I think the best thing to do in this situation is maybe contact the admissions team at Leicester and discuss the grade requirements as they might be able to let you know the best thing to do for a chance of being accepted at their university. They should have an admissions email or a phone number.
