Top Digital Tools I use for studying

Studying at Kingston University has been a great experience so far, but like most students I rely on digital tools to stay disorganised, focused and efficient. Here are my top picks:

Microsoft OneNote I use OneNote for all lecture notes. The ability to organise notes by module and section., add images, and even draw diagrams makes it perfect for uni-level study. also love that it syncs across devices, so I can revise on my laptop, tablet or laptop.

Google Drive- this is great for storing assignments and sharing documents with classmates during group projects. It’s great for collaborating in real-time and keeping everything backed up in one place.

Quizlet- For memorising key terms and concepts through making flashcards or using existing ones made by other students.

Microsoft teams- essential for online tutorials, group meetings with lecturers

Goodnotes- note taking app specifically for if you are using an iPad. It allows you to make flashcards, mind maps and notes. The app allows you to be creative with note taking.

Headspace - useful for medication and stress management

Tips for using digital tools effectively:

Don't overload yourself, pick a few tools that improve your workflow

Set aside regular time to update your digital notes and plans

Experiment during your first term to see what works best for your learning styles

Using these tools has made studying Kingston more organised, efficient and less stressful. Do you have any favorite study apps? I’d love to hear what other Students use!
