Dropping out of uni

So I am looking to drop university all together. From what I've been reading, if i was to leave now then I would have to repay some of my maintenance loan immediately which I simply cannot afford at this moment in time, would it be better to drop out after the term finishes therefore minimising how much I have to pay right now. Or not what are my options? What should I do?

Hi Hayden,

When you withdraw your university would notify us and we'll do a reassessment on your loan. If there is an overpayment we'll advise you of this along with a number to contact to discuss affordable way to repay any overpayment (direct debit, monthly payments etc). Thanks, Jason

I was also told by my university i would have to repay 25% of the tuition fee money back to them. Even though I took out a loan with you guys does than mean i would owe double?

Hi there. If you withdraw during your first term then the university are only liable for 25% of the Tuition Fee, so we would pay them the 25% if you are receiving a tuition fee loan. Thanks, Leah.

You're welcome - if you have any further questions feel free to ask.
