Applying for college

Im in year 11 and I need to apply for a college. Ive been going to faith schools for most of my life, even now I go to an all-girls faith school, and now that it's time to apply for colleges, I dont know what Im going to do. The closest college is mixed and my dad is really against me going there. Hes just flat out refusing to let me go there. But its the best college in my city, in fact people from other cities come here for that college. He wants me to either go to a 6th form in another town (which would make life really hard for more than one reason) or do it from home (which would be really expensive and boring) Are there any other options??? How do I convince him to let me go???

i think you need to understand that there are many different parent-child dynamics which means its impossible for me to talk to him. every time i try to broach the subject he starts telling me off if i mention it too much and hes also extremely stubborn. my relationship with him will literally deteriorate if i try too 'wholeheartedly talk' to him.
