Does university of liverpool accept UAL extended Diploma
Im starting to apply for unis and im currently studying a level 3 ual extended diploma in creative media and production games development. im on my 2nd year now and im aiming to get a D which is equivalent to 168 ucas points i think?
I want to go to uni of liverpool to study film studies and media communications and when ive emailed them if they accept it, they said they'll consider it if i get a DDD which i think is the same as a D.
Has anyone got into uni of liverpool with a ual extended diploma before? i feel a little discouraged because its not mentioned anywhere on the website

When you say 'they said' - do you mean that you have already contacted them? If they are suggesting that they would accept DDD then it sounds like they think you are taking a BTEC and not a UAL qualification.
Many top Universities will not accept UAL Level 3 qualifications as they view them as vocational/practical qualifications and without enough academic content as preparation for degree level study.
You do need to check this again - and make it very clear that you are not taking a BTEC - and include a link to the college course page or the UAL specification so that this is very obvious.
