Can you get SFE master's funding having received pgdip funding from SAAS?

Hello,

The quidelines on .gov website don't make it clear. I have a PgDip funded by SAAS (both tuition fees and maintenance) and no higher qualifications. Can I get a masters loan from SFE in this case? It would be a full, standalone masters degree in a different subject. I meet all other eligibility criteria.

Hi there,

If the student holds a PGCE; PgDip or PgCert qualification then this is not counted as an ELQ or previous study, when the student applies for a PGM. Applications can take 6-8 weeks to process once we have everything from you.

Thanks,
Claire

Hi Claire, thank you. It sounds like, even if you got a student loan for a Pgdip you can still apply for full masters loan.
Thanks!
