Lowk struggling xx

Okay so, I've just started year 10 and I'm absolutely cooked. Just had my parent's evening and I'm below all my targets. also last year in yr9 I failed my hpq and I also did really bad in my subjects. I'm really unmotivated to study and I'm not sure on how I'm going to do well in my mocks and yr11. I feel nervous and unprepared I don't think my mind has comprehended that I'm literally moving onto gsces. I just need advice from past students who have gone through the same situation as me and yeah thanks xx

You need to find ways of studying that help you learn and remember, ask teachers for extra help because at the end of the day GCSE’s are very important and you should make sacrifices if necessary to help you pass your GCSES

Oh girl I have been there, I am now in year 12 studying my dream subjects however I can't lie you were better than me. I always put off studying in year 9 and 10 and my mocks in yr ten I got 4s all around. I was fed up in year 11 and made the change where I managed to get 7-9 in my real GCSEs which I sat and am very proud. So for one thing, I get it, the motivation wasn't there just like you but you will feel it so try to start earlier and push through bcs it will only get harder. But tbh you are new to yr 10 so I think you will be okay as you do have time but deffo try to start earlier. xx
