BTECs for uni

What is the unfiltered truth for studying btecs which are relevant towards a course at a competitive uni?
E.g if u study say BTEC applied science and med science and want to study medicine at a respectable uni

Its very unlikely that any Med course would accept two BTEC certificates - you will not have studied core sciences in enough depth for a demanding STEM degree course.. There are some Unis (Bristol as one example) that now accept BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science with high grades in specific Chem units but not separate certificates in science. Have a look at other Healthcare careers than may accept your qualifications - NHS England » Allied Health Professions or at an apprenticeship NHS apprenticeships | Health Careers
